Carry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works with the design and specification

Involvement in review/ input to quality submissions
A strong background in civil engineering and preferably asphalt laying is required, along with a detailed understanding of estimating techniques as well as a sound knowledge of spreadsheets and other estimating software packages. The role will involve detailed analysis of direct and indirect costs along with regular reporting on the progress of tenders at all stages, and working to deadlines in order to achieve desirable results.

We are currently recruiting for a Surfacing Screwman / Operative, you will be based at Rigifa, Cove, Aberdeen but will be required to work at various sites across the North East of Scotland, this may require overnight stays.
Applicants should be experienced at operating the Topcon and Moba levelling systems on various pavers, you must also be able to work without the aid of these systems. You will be required to look after any levelling system under your care. Paver types vary within the business from small footpath machines to large 6m wide pavers.
