Quantity Surveyor/Measurement Engineer

Leiths have recently commissioned a new £3m coated stone manufacturing facility at Newtongrange, Edinburgh and are seeking an experienced person to join the Contracting Team.

Preferably with a Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering background you will be responsible for the post contract commercial management of the Leiths Group’s road construction and maintenance activities.  There are considerable opportunities for progression within the company for the right candidate.

As a senior member of the Leiths team, you will be expected to maintain an excellent working relationship with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers and to use your skills to assist with the continued profitable growth of the business.

You will be a good communicator, with a strong subscription to team work.

SENIOR SALESPERSON/MANAGER

Leiths have commissioned a new £3.5m coated stone manufacturing facility at Newtongrange, Edinburgh and are seeking an experienced Salesperson/Manager to join the Management Team and assist with building our customer portfolio in the region.

 The ideal candidate will have had commercial experience in the construction materials sector and have a sound working knowledge of aggregates, coated stone and readymixed concrete. Experience in the contracting arena would be invaluable. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the successful launch and growth of this new business.

You will be responsible for expanding the customer portfolio and liaising with the production team and our construction and surfacing Division. Leiths has built an enviable reputation for delivering quality products and excellent service, and the challenge is to ensure that we maintain this standard from our new depot.
