Credit Control Assistant based in Cove, Aberdeen

A newly created position reporting to the Credit Controller and assisting with the management of a high volume debtors ledger across multiple companies.

The key responsibilities of the role are to prepare daily and weekly excel based cashflow and credit control reports, prepare aged debt reports and credit check information. Contact customers with overdue accounts and prepare customer stop lists. Cash book responsibilities include posting all receipts, daily banking, taking card payments and allocating cash received to correct invoices.

Accounts experience is essential and you should have a good telephone manner, good excel spreadsheet skills, good organisational skills, be able to prioritise and be proactive, be able to work on your own initiative and have good communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and be able to follow instructions.

Drivers – based out of Cove, Aberdeen

HGV Class 1 – Powder Tanker / Tipper Drivers

HGV Class 2 – Tipper / Mixer and Hooklift Drivers

Previous experience on tankers / tippers or mixers is preferred, as is experience with skip operations, however, not essential as full training will be provided. You should be versatile, flexible and a willing worker who has knowledge of the local area. You will also require a sound understanding of the EU rules on drivers hours and be fully conversant with tachographs charts and digital cards. 

Trainee Weighbridge Operator – Loch-hills Quarry, Dyce Aberdeen

We are currently looking for a Trainee Weighbridge Operative for our site at Loch-hills Quarry, Dyce, Aberdeen.

The successful candidate will be trained in all weighbridge duties which will include booking in and out vehicles, ensuring that all operatives/customers are informed of quarry loading procedures and that they exit the quarry legally loaded, processing weighbridge tickets, assisting with transport deployment and utilization and carrying out a wide range of associated admin tasks.  

You must be numerate and be able to prioritise effectively and ideally you will have worked with Microsoft Office packages such as Excel and Word.  Previous experience of working in an office environment would be advantageous however not essential.

The role is Monday to Friday, however after full training there will be some Saturday morning work required so a flexible approach is important.

Roadworks/Civil Engineering Chargehands based in Aberdeen

We currently have vacancies within our Construction and Surfacing Division for the above vacancy.  You would ideally have worked within a civil engineering /groundwork environment holding a minimum of CSCS card qualification.  You must be able to show evidence that you have worked with and supervised a squad involved in all aspects of road maintenance and construction.
